Tiger’s Eye Gold Turkish Earrings

These Earrings are made in Sterling Silver with a gold metal overlay. The circular drop is accented with a Tiger’s Eye Stone. These Earrings have a post back. They are made by brothers, Ahmet and Murat, in Istanbul, Turkey.

TURKEY: In Istanbul, the Kariye Museum stands as a testament to tolerance between Christians and Muslims. The Christian portion is a  church with gilded stories of Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the apostles. A mosque is adjacent to the Church, with an entrance  directly from the  church into the mosque. The mosque is light and airy, without decoration.
